Who we are

Apogee Geospatial, operating under the brand APOGEO, is a pan-African geospatial advisory and technical firm established in 2023, with offices in Lomé (Togo) and Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso). It is powered by seasoned professionals with more than twenty years of engagement with national agencies, regional institutions and international organizations.

We operate across the African continent, with offices in Togo and Burkina Faso, and have delivered projects funded by AfDB, the World Bank, the EU, GIZ, UNDP, MCC and JICA.

Surv. Abdoulaye BELEM

Founder & CEO — Surveying Engineer & Geospatial Governance Expert

A surveying engineer with over 20 years of experience, Abdoulaye Belem is a seasoned expert in geodesy, geospatial information management, and border governance. He has led national geodetic network development and GNSS/CORS programs, and served as Director General of the Institut Géographique du Burkina (IGB) and Deputy Executive Director of AFRIGIST. He has held senior governance roles within UN-GGIM, including First Vice-President of UN-GGIM: Africa, and contributes to global initiatives such as AFREF and the UN Global Geodetic Reference Frame.
